The processing of EVA foam

EVA foam is light and flexible foam used as substitute for wide range of materials in production. It is suitable substitute of tranditional rubber, silicone, neoprene, polyurethane, and other plastics. Generally speaking, the EVA foam processing is mainly include EVA foam die cutting, EVA foam compression thermoforming and EVA foam injection molding.

1.EVA foam die cutting

EVA foam die cutting is processing from EVA foam sheet, it is only used to cut the EVA foam sheet into flat pieces via die cut mold. The most common use of this processing method is foam packages, puzzles and mats for kids playing products.

2. EVA foam compression thermoforming

EVA foam compression thermoforming is EVA foam sheet shaped by EVA foam compression mold, it can make parts and products with diffrent shapes and constructions. Due to processing differences, thermoforming is divided into cold compression molding and heat compression molding.

3. EVA foam injection modling

EVA foam injection molding is processing like plastic injection molding, it is made from EVA foam pellets. It is light, flexible, UV-resistant, non-toxic and eco-freindly, widely used as substitute in many traditional plastic injection molding.
